My Role

Ideated and pitched multiple art concepts. Wrote RFP for artists and vetted various candidates. Gathered information for every partnership initiative and provided art direction for the corresponding basketball. Worked closely with art curator and fabricators to ensure the brand integrity of Hawks and State Farm. Photographed basketballs, retouched all photos, and designed website experience.

The Atlanta Hawks celebrated State Farm’s 100th Anniversary by gifting a custom art installation to the State Farm headquarters in Atlanta. The wall installation featured 100 unique basketballs that each told the story of a Hawks and State Farm initiative or milestone during their partnership. Professional Atlanta-based artists, Hawks employees, and Good Neighbor Club kids are among those who decorated and designed the basketballs. The plaque of the installation included a QR code that led visitors to a custom website to learn the story behind each basketball.
